Reiki, Energy Healing & Meditation

Reiki is a form of energy healing that works holistically with the physical, mental and energetic fields. We combine the modalities of Reiki and Energy Healing to induce relaxation, accelerate natural healing, release emotional blockages, and relieve stress. This healing involves sending natural energy vibrations channeled through the practitioner into the body of the recipient.

You will embark on your healing journey easing into a world of tranquility with a soothing personalized guided meditation. As your body experiences relaxation, the Energy Healing begins while you immerse in calming sound vibrations. The journey draws to a close with a soft awakening followed by an insightful chat about your rejuvenating experience.

Reiki is a complementary therapy that works well as a support to other medical and traditional therapies without impacting them. It is administered by placing the hands in a series of positions on or slightly above the body. Reiki promotes healing by activating the relaxation response and helping the body to balance itself from a very deep level. It gently balances a person’s life energy, allowing the body’s innate intelligence to bring well-being and good health to the individual.

Reiki and Energy Healing are not affiliated with any spiritual or religious practice.

Ayurveda

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda, pronounced as “AYUH-VE-DHA”, is one of the oldest recorded healing sciences tracing its roots over five thousand years ago. It is based on a holistic approach to health and wellbeing that views the physical, mental and emotional fields of an individual as a whole.

The word Ayurveda comes from two Sanskrit words, ‘Ayur’ meaning life and ‘Veda’ meaning knowledge or science. Ayurveda is the science of life and longevity. It draws upon our deep connection to mother nature and is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago.

Ayurveda and You

The beauty of Ayurveda is that it recognises the uniqueness of each person’s mind-body constitution, and therefore allows for the personalisation of their journey to health and wellbeing.

Our goal is to identify and help you understand your unique constitution and provide practical diet and lifestyle advice to suit your individual mind-body energy (known as your ‘Dosha’). Knowing your Dosha will allow you to understand your individual blueprint and the fundamental principles that govern your physical, mental, and emotional characteristics. This is the first step in your journey towards achieving and maintaining healthy balance.

We seek to empower you with the understanding of the practices that support you, and those which don’t, to set you on your path to health and resilience. We seek to achieve this by providing a comprehensive personalised Dosha assessment, and knowledge about your unique Dosha constitution.

Ayurveda views the body as a dynamic organism, and therefore there is a need to adapt our practices to align with the changes in environment, seasons, and in our lifestyle. Together we will review your diet, sleep, self-care habits and work routine. We will then collaboratively create a plan that is in alignment with nature and your individual blueprint to achieve a state of healthy equilibrium.

Health and Wellbeing, the Ayurveda Way

In Ayurveda, the primary cause for disease is the result of imbalance in the Doshas. This can manifest as various stages from chronic illness to generally feeling unwell.

To bring the body and mind back into balance, Ayurveda focuses on two key actions; Firstly, to identify and remove the aggravating factors, then treat the remaining imbalance by aligning diet and lifestyle to the inherent balanced Dosha of the individual (known as Prakruti).

The goal of Ayurveda is to give you the tools to bring yourself into synchrony with your mind and body. The ultimate medicine is your connection with your self, by connecting with your self you can begin to listen to your body and understand the causes of balance or imbalance. This is the first step on the journey towards health and wellbeing.

The Science of Life

Recognising What Makes You, You

Ayurveda teaches us to understand and cherish our innate nature.

To love and honour who we are, not as people think or tell us who we are.

Importance of Digestion

It is not just about what you eat; what you digest is equally important.

In Ayurveda we explore what you eat, and how you eat it, to optimise digestion and absorption. From these results, a personalised plan of care can be created in order to achieve optimal health and wellbeing

Proactive and Resilient Wellbeing

Ayurveda empowers us to maintain and restore our state of balance every day.

By doing so we start to build resilience into our wellbeing and shift our approach to healthcare from reactive to proactive.
