Clinical Nutritionist

Sarah’s Story

My name is Sarah, and I am a Clinical Nutritionist with a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutritional & Dietetic Medicine) from Endeavour College of Natural Health. I am also a registered practitioner with the Australian Natural Therapies Association (ANTA).

I have always had a passion for nutrition and food ever since high school and becoming a nutritionist has been a lifelong goal of mine.

As a mother, I have a practical approach to Paediatric Nutrition

As a mother myself, I have a practical interest in paediatric nutrition and I am here to  help families with realistic strategies on how to feed their kids and manage fussy eating. I believe that food can be medicine and often the simplest changes can have the biggest impact.

My interest in paediatric nutrition, covers food intolerances, gut health and other digestive issues as well as skin health, immune health, fatigue and low energy.

I am also very passionate about supporting all areas of health including lifestyle, sleep, stress, and movement.

I work to assess all areas of my client’s lives and find sustainable ways to bring them joy and wellness.

Coeliac is a special interest of mine.

I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease over ten years ago.

This sparked my desire to learn everything about the body and how it was all connected and how nutrition and natural medicine can help to nourish and support us to live long and happy, healthy lives.

My daughter also has Coeliac and is a very fussy eater. So naturally I have taken a special interest in managing her condition as well as my own.

I can offer the Patient’s, the Parent’s and the Practitioner’s experience to help my clients with their management of this condition.

What I like doing outside of work

I have two children (8 and 4) and love spending time with them cooking in the kitchen, drawing, and going on adventures.

I also love being outside and spending time with my family camping, going to the beach, eating out, spending time with good friends and walking our chocolate Labrador, Jetson.

I enjoy reading and love curling up with a good book and a warm cup of coffee (boosted with medicinal mushrooms of course!) and can’t pass up a good thrift in an op shop/vintage market.

I have always wanted to learn photography and hope to be able to take this hobby up properly in the Spring – my favourite time of the year !
